Neighbours of every age taking part in the same online community event from their homes

Community event guides

Everything you need to take part

Our community events are free, practical and run by neighbours. Whether you speak, host a session, sponsor or attend, these guides show you what to expect and how to make it count.

Know someone who would take part?

Community events need speakers, moderators, sponsors and guests. Send these guides to someone who would be good at it.

One free account for all of it

Speaking, moderating, sponsoring and attending all use the same free iCaria account, and you can do more than one. It never signs you up for care.

Questions

Do these guides apply to every event?

Yes. They describe how all iCaria Together community events work. Each event's own page gives its date, its program and its exact session times.

Can I take part in more than one way?

Yes. Many people attend one session and speak at another, or sponsor and send a speaker from their team. Each role is a separate sign-up with the same account.

Does it cost anything?

Attending is always free. Speakers and moderators are volunteers and pay nothing. Sponsors choose a sponsor level, which is what keeps the event free for everyone else.

Who do I ask if something is not covered here?

Ask the assistant on any page, or write to support@icariatogether.com. We reply within two working days.

Are the sessions recorded?

Almost always. The talks are posted on the iCaria Together YouTube channel (youtube.com/@icariatogether), free for attendees who could not come and for the whole community. Breakout rooms and attendees' video are never recorded.
